PAYNEGROUP'S CONTINUED GROWTH SPARKS IMMEDIATE HIRING

SEATTLE, Washington (April 4, 2013) — PayneGroup, a leading provider of security and workflow products, has seen business increase significantly in the past year. This growth has prompted the relocation of their Seattle office to a significantly larger space, along with the hiring of key personnel.

The most recent addition to PayneGroup is Alan Denny, as project manager. Alan is a seasoned and well-known IT professional and consultant who was most recently at Orrick Herrington and Sutcliff in Silicon Valley, and previously at Manatt Phelps & Phillips in Los Angeles. He will be based in California.

“I was already well aware of PayneGroup’ s exceptional reputation for providing top notch customer service on their products, but what really attracted me was the opportunity to be a part of their team and company,” Denny said. “I look forward to applying my project management experience and communication skills toward working with PayneGroup clients and the internal team.”

Alan Denny is the first of what the company hopes will be many new hires in 2013. Donna Payne, CEO of PayneGroup, states, “Business demands have us actively looking for more developers, project managers, and sales staff. We’re a close knit group that has been together on average for more than 12 years, so finding the right people will be key to the success of our expansion plans.”

PayneGroup Products Trainer Certification Class Announced

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – August 1, 2012 – PayneGroup, a long time leading provider of training services and courseware, today announced that it is offering a training certification course for all trainers of PayneGroup products: Forms Assistant, Numbering Assistant, Metadata Assistant and Outlook Send Assistant.

The PayneGroup Professional Services group, led by Susan Horiuchi designed the class to include organizations that do not use PayneGroup trainers. This might include in-house trainers or third party training companies brought in to help with the rollout. Says Horiuchi, “In the past, organizations would purchase the products and then hire companies that said that they were experts on the software only to find out later that this wasn’t the case. With this program, we’re going to give trainers the knowledge that they need to succeed and present the products in the best light and a way for firms to verify the expertise.”

Classes will take place in PayneGroup’s Seattle, Washington headquarters and are open to all trainers. The first class will take place in August. Subsequent certification classes will be scheduled once per month or more based on demand. This two-day class includes both in-depth training on the products as well as best practices training approaches for each of the products. Courseware and reference materials are included with the class. For trainers who pass the certification test upon completion of the course, their names will be listed on the PayneGroup website (www.payneconsulting.com) as authorized trainers on the PayneGroup products.

“An important factor in the successful implementation of our products is the quality of the training. The use of trainers who are knowledgeable about the functionality and operation of our products is a key ingredient in user acceptance,” stated Shirley Gorman, VP of Client Relations at PayneGroup. By listing on our website the names of the trainers who have passed the certification class, PayneGroup clients can immediately verify whether or not a trainer is truly qualified.

PayneGroup and Biscom Deliver Improved Email Security: Collaboration yields ability to automatically scrub metadata for delivery via Biscom’s Microsoft Outlook integration

Chelmsford, MA – April 10, 2012 – As more and more law firm CIOs and IT professionals struggle to protect confidential information from unauthorized access, PayneGroup and Biscom, two of the legal industry’s leading security solution providers, are delivering an increased level of protection for client documents and data. The companies have seamlessly integrated PayneGroup’s metadata cleaning and Biscom’s secure document delivery technologies to interoperate in a Microsoft Outlook environment. With this integration, PayneGroup’s Metadata Assistant will clean email attachments of harmful hidden metadata and Biscom Secure File Transfer will redirect the email as a secured, encrypted delivery.

“The protection of confidential client data demands that every precaution be taken with document delivery. Not only does the delivery need to be encrypted from unauthorized access and delivered to only designated individuals, it also needs to be clean of metadata prior to that delivery. PayneGroup’s Metadata Assistant connects directly with Biscom’s Outlook add-on to ensure maximum security with a minimal effect on work habits and productivity,” said Charles Magliato, Legal Program Director for Biscom. “Our collaboration with Biscom brings a new level of security to the Microsoft Outlook environment,” says Donna Payne, CEO of PayneGroup. “The seamless integration of our security products significantly reduces the risk of data breaches without changing user behavior.” The integration of the PayneGroup Metadata Assistant and Biscom Secure File Transfer products will be demonstrated in an upcoming International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) product briefing on May 18, 2012 at noon ET. Payne Releases Video Training Product

Seattle, USA – December 2008: PayneGroup has teamed with an Emmy-award winning producer and director to create videos training on their products, and on Office 2007. The videos include a person/trainer visible at all times which adds the personal touch throughout the program. The center screen shows the computer and what is being discussed. Navigation allows you to skip to other chapters, pause and resume. Best of all, you can store these videos on your firm Intranet and they are accessible at any time and for any duration by your staff. Payne made these videos for three primary reasons. The first is that as the economy slows, they wanted to come up with a solution that would be more cost effective than expensive and time consuming traditional training. Second, the technology exists to provide good video training and not just show computer capture screen videos, plus the videos are available on-demand is what many have been asking for. Finally, since many firms have trainers travel to other locations or offices to provide training, Payne thought this would do a small part of being more environmentally friendly.
