Scramble Assistant for Excel allows you to scramble the contents of an entire workbook, worksheet or current selection to prevent others from viewing the contents. The formatting of the workbook remains intact, but the content is scrambled to make understanding impossible.
To Install:
Run the install program and it will prompt you to place the ScrambleAssistant.xla in Excel’s XLSTART folder. If you want to place the file in a different folder, you can do so, however, you will need to load the template ScrambleAssistant.xla from Excel's Templates and Add-ins dialog box (Tools|Templates and Addins) before you run the utility.
To Run:
You can run the utility from the Scramble Assistant toolbar or from the File Menu (File|Scramble Assistant).
Important! There is no way to undo a scramble once the workbook has been saved and closed. Therefore, it is critical that you preserve the original file before scrambling and/or sending out a scrambled workbook.
